Projeto de intervenção psicossocial em escolas no contexto pós-enchentes no Rio Grande Do Sul
Keywords:
Climate Challenges, Emergency Pedagogy, Circles in MovementAbstract
The research focuses on a psychosocial intervention project to be implemented in schools in a post-natural disaster context, based on the studies of Emergency Pedagogy and Circles in Movement. The objective is to present the structure of a project for potential responses to adverse situations in post-catastrophe contexts within educational institutions. How can we conceive a psychosocial intervention project that addresses the psychopedagogical needs of schools in the aftermath of environmental disasters? The theoretical framework encompasses the Circles in Movement program and the studies of Emergency Pedagogy, particularly those detailed in Guide to Organization and Action for Interventions with Emergency Pedagogy in Regions of Conflict and Catastrophe by Bernd Ruf. Initially, the study contextualizes the floods in Rio Grande do Sul and their consequences for the region's schools. Subsequently, it presents the Circles in Movement program, highlighting its relevance and applicability in schools. Next, the study explains the concept of Emergency Pedagogy, its history, and its main principles. Finally, the project Circle of Love is developed and its potential application is elaborated. The project aligns with the 13th United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): “Promote mechanisms for capacity-building in climate-related planning and effective management.” It responds to increasingly pressing global needs, considering the impacts of climate change on school communities.
