Conflict of Interest Policy
Enlaces – Journal of Linguistic and Literary Studies adopts a strict policy of transparency and integrity regarding conflicts of interest. A conflict of interest is understood as any situation in which personal, professional, institutional, or financial interests may influence, or appear to influence, the objectivity, impartiality, or integrity of the editorial process.
Authors must disclose, at the time of submission, any relationships or circumstances that could be perceived as potential conflicts of interest, including funding sources, institutional affiliations, recent academic collaborations, or any other relevant factors. Reviewers are expected to decline invitations to review manuscripts when they identify conflicts that may compromise their impartiality, such as personal or professional relationships with the authors or direct involvement with the subject matter. Editors must recuse themselves from handling submissions in which they have any interest or relationship that could affect the neutrality of the editorial decision.
All conflict of interest disclosures are handled confidentially and, when appropriate, may be published alongside the article to ensure transparency for readers. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in manuscript rejection, article retraction, or other appropriate editorial actions.
