Research Integrity Policy

Enlaces adopts a research integrity policy aligned with the guidelines of the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and international editorial standards.

Research integrity is a core principle across all editorial stages, involving authors, reviewers, editors, and institutions.

The following principles are fundamental:
– intellectual honesty;
– transparency in scientific communication;
– responsibility in research conduct and dissemination;
– respect for ethical and copyright standards.

Scientific misconduct includes, but is not limited to:
– plagiarism and self-plagiarism;
– data fabrication or falsification;
– inappropriate authorship;
– undisclosed conflicts of interest;
– improper use of artificial intelligence.

Misconduct cases will be evaluated by the editorial team and may result in rejection, retraction, institutional notification, or other appropriate measures.
