Focus and Scope
Enlaces – Journal of Linguistic and Literary Studies is an open-access scientific journal affiliated with the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia (IFBA), devoted to publishing original and unpublished works in the fields of Linguistics, Literature, and Education, in dialogue with different theoretical, critical, analytical, and methodological approaches.
The journal welcomes contributions that foster the advancement of scientific knowledge, qualified academic debate, and the articulation between research, teaching, and educational practices, taking into account the plurality that characterizes contemporary linguistic and literary studies.
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
- original research articles;
- critical reviews;
- academic interviews with leading scholars;
- experience reports;
- theoretical-critical essays;
- essays on language teaching;
- didactic sequences;
- teaching materials;
- thematic dossiers, organized by invited scholars or approved by the editorial board.
The journal publishes manuscripts in Brazilian Portuguese, English, and Spanish, thereby encouraging the international circulation of academic production and the exchange among researchers, teachers, and other professionals in the fields of Linguistics, Literature, and Education.
Enlaces adopts a continuous publication model and double-blind peer review, considering the specificities of each submitted genre, in order to ensure academic rigor, editorial integrity, scientific relevance, and publication quality.
