This paper discusses intercultural and anti-racist pedagogical practices for Portuguese teaching in quilombola communities, based on data from the master's thesis “Crenças e atitudes linguísticas do Quilombo Mundo Novo de Buíque-PE: repercussões educacionais”. The master’s research revealed that quilombola women internalize discourses of linguistic inferiorization, understanding the school as a space for "learning to speak correctly" and reproducing a normative view of language. Based on these findings, the paper proposes a Pedagogy of Quilombola Linguistic Variation grounded in three pillars: the pedagogy of continuum and linguistic adequacy, re-existence literacies, and teacher education guided by critical interculturality. The analysis, of qualitative and interpretivist approach, articulates empirical data with the assumptions of Educational Sociolinguistics, critical interculturality, and studies on linguistic racism, in dialogue with educational policies aimed at Quilombola School Education. The results demonstrate the urgency of a linguistic education that recognizes and values quilombola linguistic diversity as cultural heritage, breaking with the historical cycle of erasure and silencing, and reaffirming language as a territory of resistance and emancipation.
